I had to cut down the rubber nub on my guarder clear hopup.. for some reason
the nubs on aftermarket rubbers are bigger than the stock ones TM puts in.
You need to mess with it a bit and it will work..

Oh im running a Prometheus 6.03 285mm with a Guarder Clear hopup Rubber and
the stock TM nub.

Anything that's sharp enough to slice off about 1mm from one end.

Tom, don't cut the Mad Bull Hop bucking, they aren't the same shape as other brands... cutting it may render it useless.

Recheck your installation. Something isn't right there. Remove the hop-up unit/inner barrel and look inside... with the hop-up all the way off. There should be no signs of the sleeve/bucking protruding into the hop-up chamber.
Gradually increase the hop and look inside making sure the hop-up is increasing as it should.

If all else fails try the Mad Bull hop-up sleeve with your original bucking.

Tom

The solution i sent you through PM will not work for a left or right swerve, sorry.
But from what i read there is a break in period for the shipping silicone inside of barrel, try putting a few low caps thru it maybe that will help?

the problem you're having is, you placed the brass ring in first BEFORE the hop up rubber.

place hop up rubber over barrel.

insert these into the hop up unit. use silicone oil, spit etc to help it slide in.

place the hop up bucking and lever in palce.

slide the hop up ring down the barrel assembly the RIGHT way, and ensure the previous items are in place properly. They should adjust at this point properly as you spin the hop up adjustment wheel you just put in place.

install the clip. it should have the tabs facing the rear (towards the hop up unit) to keep the adjustment peice in place.

slide the brass ring down the barrel. again, use the lube of your choice if you're having trouble. this peice sits in between the clip and the end of the hop up unit to prevent excessive play in the barrel.

install the assembly into the front end.

test fire, and adjust hop up as required.
