Sorry but you dont know anything about Airsoft batteries if you think NiCd are better than Nice quality Nimh, the NiCd are crap compared, the kind of battery like intellect 4200 mah Sub C can deliver 80 A continously and 200 A burst. the smalle ones like IB1400 deliver 25 A continously, and put them in parallel they kick arse. |

Although being a tad aggressive, Ringsted is right about the Nicad batteries: the discharge flow is stronger and more stable on (well maintained) Nimh batteries. I'd be happy to wrestle in oil anyone who disagrees with that mmmh, say Blueberry jam instead of oil. Jimski |

I never had satisfactory results with any MIMH batteries i tried so all my guns run on NICD, you can ask around what people think about my guns. I always had longer life, better rof or torque power out of a NICD. My comment comes from experience witch include airsoft, RC cars and planes and industrial use. In the end I don't give a rats ass what you use but for the price of 1 MIMH i get3 NICD that in the end give me better results....you do the math

Ok, just making sure you knew what you were getting into. He has a pretty sick sense of humour at times.

Mp5, and Mc51 series. NiCd you can have a 10,8 600 mah in the front. with NimH you can have 10,8 1500 mah. same size. MP5 SD series. NiCd 9,6 1100 mah, 9,6 1200 mah (2 9,6 600 in parallel) or at 12 v 600 mah. with NiMh 9,6 3000 mah ( 2 9,6 1500 in parallel) or a 12 v 1500 mah battery. The M4 series with battery in the handguard. NiCd you can have 9,6-12v 1700 mah battery, or 9,6 1800 (with 3 9,6 600 mah batteries in trippel). With NiMh you have, 9,6 2000 mah (GP celle) or 9,6 3000 mah or 12v 3000 mah, hell i can even fit a 9,6 4500 in my CA handguard made by 3 9,6 1500 in trippel. Fixed stock. the best NiCd i know of are the RC 2400 mah cells, SUB C size. so in an G&P fixed M16 stock you can have 13,2 volt og 2400 mah with your NiCd cells, or you can have a 13,2 4200-4500 mah batteri with either intellect or elite cells. i could go on with specific setups but it should be clear by now that the energy density of NiMh cells are over 60% as high in some cases over 100% more than NiCd of similar size. now i know all about internal resistance and dischargning behavior, and for all the setups above the Ni Mh are by far the best in these categories. take a look at www.cheapbatterypacks.com or some nice batteries, |
