Why does anyone have to do anything?
Because jesus told me to do it. |

well if it was a good enough reason for the crusades, it's a good enough reason for this.

Hey first off, great review! I just picked up this same gun and was wondering what barrel you used? I found a couple that make it about half way to the flash hider but not one that goes all the way to the end. Did you custom cut a PSG1 or AUG barrel or something? Any help would be great. Thx. in advance.

About the ironsights on the top of the carry handle, how are you supposed to use them if there not ajustable. If the gun isnt perfectly lined up from the factory you are screwed. Is it ever possible to mount other iron sight on the top, i see holes there...?

The iron sights are moulded relatively straight with the bore... at least on my rifle. I don't think it's practical to mount iron sights on top of the scope b/c it would make the cheek weld too high (that is, if its possible to have that high of a cheek weld).

Great review, can the G&P stock use any normal battery if I use tamiya connectors instead of dean's connectors? Would the battery need a gap between the 2nd and 4th battery like the intended batterys for this stock?

The stock can use any normal battery with a tamiya connector. However, because of the tamiya's size, you'll find installing the battery less than ideal.
The gap between the 2nd and 4th cell is required to lock the stock when it's folded. This gap is for the brass deflector to protrude through. If you don't intend to fold the stock, then you can use virtually any normal "rectangular" shaped battery.

Oh ok, I will want to fold the stock every so often, I think it would be best for me to use the intended stock batterys but replace the deans connectors on the battery with tamiya connectors that way I can change back to using the battery in the hand guard when ever I want a change without having to do any soldering.

Can you replace the CA stock spring guide with a Systema or Guarder V3. bearing spring guide ?
I 've tried both bearing spring guide, and they don't fit in at all. Anyone got the same problem?or it is just mine

That's odd, my Guarder bearing spring guide fit, Raygis was the one who did the work. But my CA mechbox also had some imperfections that I doubt is shared by all other CA boxes, so it could be shoddy QA on CA's part?
