Oshawa does not do walk on or rental. You may, however, attend as a guest.
As a former member, I don't have much to say about them other than I was not a fan of their level of maintenance and some of their stupidity. I had some old nursing home aged fuck call the cops to the range on me a few years back over my CZ because he swore up and down that its an "AK four seven", range management was supportive of his bullshit as well. In regards to Silverdale, great range, mostly good people. Don't know anything about Briter's comment about them opening up to airsoft, but only fools would bother taking airsoft to a real steel range. Stick to playing airsoft at airsoft games and shooting in your basements.

LOL, may be, but it's pretty bad on RO's and stuff still. Their maintenance and range leaves MUCH to be desired. For what they charge, to me, it seems the Rifle and pistol range is secondary and all they really care about is the skeet and trap so that their idiot management can run their competitions/tournaments or whatever they call them. Up Top is about the only place that seems to see any money sunk into it.

Ya the shot gun sports are what brings the money in, and keeps the club in the lime light , the rifle and pistol was an after thought brought on after my father pestered the crap out of them, so they slapped something up to keep shooters from leaving and heading to Kinmount. I know DRP and OPP's tac teams practice on the rifle range and has put in a few requests for additions so we will see what comes of it.
They are just starting to realize theres more to the world then trap and skeet, the rifle range was originally slapped up for the members to do a pre hunt sight in. But now that 3 gun has exploded they are looking into getting in on the action. The old boys are starting to leave the club so it should get better, I know I wouldn't shoot there if I had to pay lol |

I haven't been there for years. Things probably changed. I see people say that you can fire .223 there now. 6-7 years ago group of friends and I went over, they wanted to pick up 10/22 mags and other stuff. Long story short, two guys paid to shoot pistols. They both walked out with some 9mm and .45 rounds in their pockets and got slapped silly for doing so by me... Besides the point, I honestly don't know what kind of range officer would miss walk-ins pocketing ammo and walking out with it...
