I used the G&G 72 round mid caps which are most definitely compatible, and WE mid and high caps also. Like I said I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I will get back to this subject when I test it in the field, I'll have my team mates lend me their mags to test this out.
@-Shade I believe the cylinder head is proprietary. I remember watching a review video and the guy names 2 parts that are G&G proprietary, which one of them was the hop up unit, the other... Can't remember but I'm 50% sure it was the cylinder head. I can't find the video, but when I do I'll post it. |

The hilarious thing is that I contacted G&G and they told me it was just a normal V6 cylinder head and aftermarket upgrades would work. Are there different V6 heads maybe? Some for different makes? ie. TM or CA P90
Or do they just not know their guns very well, lol... Quote:

Finding replacement parts for the F2000 is quite tough is what I heard. The F2000 is a pretty quiet gun mainly because of its weak sounding motor. I love this gun and it is one of my best guns for its performance. The gun is pretty bulky and hard to move around quickly with.

I'm not sure about the cylinder head. Maybe there are different versions, I would check g&g's parts shop and see what type of cylinder they sell, then find out where you can buy after market upgrades.

All I have to say... None of my guns feel as good as this f2000 shouldered. I haven't picked up my m4 in a while and when I did, I hated the feeling, and I really like my upgraded m4. Now I'm scared to pick up my scar-h and feel the same way about it.
Once again, the gun isn't as bulky as some say, it's light and well balanced. I can't say it enough but this is probably one of the most versatile aeg's, but that's because it's bull pup design and rapid spring adjustment feature. I have yet to confirm the situation with the mags, but that will only happen in a week and a half. I wish I had more mid cap stanag mags other than my g&g's... If this helps, the distance between where bb's enter the chamber and the controversial screw is about 3/4 of an inch. Let me know what the length of the small spring box is on your mags, I'm curious to know what the standard length is. If the mag well supported 7.62mm mags, even my vfc mid cap mags would fit. And besides, this issue was brought to g&g's attention a long time ago, and the screw I speak of is simply used to hold the gearbox together. I do not see why, and what would have been so complicated to move it further allowing standard mags to fit. From what I have read, g&g are quick on fixing issues with their aeg's. For all those looking into a bull pup, or an overall amazing out of the box aeg, you just can't go wrong. If you think the gun is horrendous, it looks better in person, so in my opinion it's damn sexy |

Shave 4mm off the top block of the mag. Done. Or take the gearbox oit and shave off tue screw. Lots of other screws holding it together.

g&g proprietary parts shouldn't scare anyone... they're very easily accessible by email and you can order parts directly from the factory. They answer mail within 24 hours.. usually around 12-18 given the time difference between canada and taiwan. Their english is very good.
V6 cylinder heads are all the same, if the g&g is different, then it's different. But it's very rare that you have to replace one... I have my stock p90 cylinder head in from CA. it's plastic and it seals fine which is what matters most. It's an interesting looking gun for sure, and it's a conversation starter at games since it's so different.

Its been said, if mags don't sit properly there are easy ways to work around the issue.
It is indeed an interesting looking gun, but I admire FN Herstals engineering, more so than magpul. But lets not get carried into a debate lol. Anyone know how the shell ejection on the F2000 works? I mean it's a bull pup, yet the ejection happens in front and away from the operator... |

I own one, and I've noticed that during reload, bbs sometimes fall into a gap between the right side of the gear box and the outer body shell. Gotta get a piece of foam or something in there so I'm not carrying a bloody rattle lol. Other than that, and the fact my nozzle isn't cycling 100% and causing miss-feeds, I'm loving the range, accuracy and style. My favorite bullpup rifle for sure. I've got some modded M4 mags (forget the brand) that I just shaved the back of the plastic ridge and they work beautifully. It's also got a 11.1 Lipo in it, so ROF is a little higher than normal, but I'm not usually a full-auto user unless the situation calls for it. But then, that's why I keep my teammate Raven with his M249 SAW at my elbow XD

I can officially confirm that real cap PMags fit. G&G must have moved the screw because the mags spring block is a bit longer than my G&G's. I'm now convinced that all standard stanag mags will fit.

I have now tested several different real and mid cap mags and they all fit. Not only fit, they fit so nicely that there is no wobble what so ever.
