Its good for the money (i had a jg plastic bodied one)
But if you have cash the vfc/umarex is prolly the nicest one on the market thats easily available. That or if you can find a hurricane kit to convert and m4 those are so nice but hard to find and the cost for the kit will likely be more the a complete vfc/umarex.

The metal HK416 is very good for the money but front wired model need work on the circular part holding the stock tube for rear wiring: you need to drill a hole and to quote my reaction when I tried: "Holy crap that's not pot metal!".

What did you drill? The post on the body should have a hole and then you just have to take a bit off the washer that the stock mounting bolt goes through if it didnt alrdy have a flat side.

I own a JG 416 (actually selling it in the classifieds) and its a solid gun, super sturdy built gamed it hard for 1.5 years and had absolutely no problem with it ever. It is a bit on the heavy side but thats about it. Only upgrades i did to it where cosmetic/external as the stock performance especially for CQB is ample.

(its the newest generation full metal version, rear wired, battery in stock)
