already got a few messages where to get it. and a offer to buy someones used. but i want it new. good thing there are some people on this site that realize i wouldn't be be able to obtain nor use the gun if i was 12.

but besides all that, back to the first question. can anyone say " yes i sawed down the barrel and it works fine" i am going to just buy the shorter one. but for the sake of everyone with a shotgun that they find to long.

No, I have not sawed off the barrel. I used plumbers pipe cutter to make a clean cut on both plastic and the aluminum inners, and then chamfered the cuts with a power drill and a large sized bit.

just letting everyone know know i did get the m1014 and cut some of the barrel off and it works great. lost about 30 fps tho. only took me about 10 minutes total to do the whole job.

i have the exact same shotgun. The inner barrels don't come all the way to the end so i was able to simply cut off the excess barrel down to about a few inches away from the inner barrels. I cut the lower barrel as well almost down to the charging handle. I stuck the end cap back into it as well for a clean look
Its much shorter now and performance wasn't affected at all |
