if you want an LMG that is 100% guaranteed to be allowed at a game, just stick with the more common LMGs, such as an M249 or M60.
it sucks getting a squad together and training, just to get to an OP and suddenly your 2 support gunners cant use their MG36s M249s have lots of brands making them, CA, A&K, G&P. and come in lots of different setups, mkII, parra ect. get an M249 and a cheaper entry level AEG, like a KA M4, to use on days that you don't feel like playing support gunner

Joking aside, M60's are sexy and do the same job in airsoft and the adjustable ROF on the A&K is useful.

naa.. I told the guy that was interested in getting a mg36 to go do what he feels he wants to do. If he wants to run it, that's fine, if he ends up being forced to use midcaps, that's also fine.
Having 10 midcaps holding a total of 1200 rounds vs 1 beta mag holding 1200 rounds makes no diffference... The difference is reloading for sustained fire is a bitch when you have to pull the beta mag out, open it up, pour BBs, reinsert mag. Either method isn't going to kill him, it just means we have less sustained fire for the 10 seconds he's changing out midcaps. |

If you want compact and maneuverable, roll with a Mk46

With MG36, if allowed at game, great, if not, just clip 3 mags together lol.

it sounds like your friends might be in the same boat as me, as I dont think I'll be playing as many games as I would like to next year, so dropping $600 on CA m249 doesnt sound logical. The A&K was tempting at $400, but I did hear and see alot of problems with them too, so what can you do?
thats why I made the mg36 thread... it would have been great for guys like me and your buddies who want a LMG but dont want to lay down the big bucks for something thats only going to see a handful of games next year

The CA Mk.46 is a brilliant little unit. The compact length, adjustable stock and integrated rails make it an extremely versatile LMG. Two guys on my team run a Mk.46; I used one of them at Shallow Lake and quite liked it. |

yeah, when I say 'my team is shopping' really it means, they've left it on ME to find stuff and they just hand money over to me. lol
They're not much into forums or doing the whole AV thing, much less online shopping. They're sort of that in between generation where they spent most of their lives without the interwebs. |
