+1 for me too.
I'd be interested in increasing the FPS in my MP9 (compared to the low power bolt) and more consistent output. subscribing to the thread! |

ok, here's the completed low FPS valve with yellow plastic rear bumper insert.
seems to be working well, and the plastic is holding out fine. i'll make a couple more of these this afternoon, then i'll start making the high FPS valves. they will have the same plastic bumper, and will have a thin 4 fin flute as well as sit further back to maximize gas flow into the barrel.

http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_inf...oducts_id=8342 http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=34901 I understand that the price might be a little off putting, but I try to price my items fair enough so I can make a bit of a living. You aren't supporting some ACM operation, just me. I think it is fair that I would like to make a little money for the time spent designing and machining before coming to my end result. Quote:

the cross pin is tempered steel, and i have already replaced a shattered one in an MP7. it was using the RA-Tech NASP valve that is half aluminum and half steel. the back of the valve is covered in strike marks from striking the cross pin. it even deformed the face of the steel plate that threads on to the threaded shaft that adjusts the fps. the valve no longer adjusts due to the damage.
there is a reason why KWA put a plastic buffer in the back of the valve. other GBB/R manufacturers make their valves out of plastic, which is more resistant to impacts and is also much lighter than a metal one. i find that the weight of the valve only really effects how soon the valve will close after the BB has left the barrel and the pressure drop sucks the valve closed. a heavier valve will take longer to close than a light one, but the FPS is more so a factor of gas flow, than how long the valve is open for. so a heavier valve would in effect waste more gas than a lighter one. DangerWerx...I believe you're the one who makes them? Nice to see you subscribe just to post =D
2 dollar difference isn't really that much, I did see them but everyone tells me to avoid evike like the plague Another thing, they should say it works for other platforms too, one of the biggest reason I didn't go for the 2 dollar less ones..... One very last thing, I did buy 3 :P

Ok, I have 10 valves ready to go out on Monday for those who have contacted me for a set.
I would have done them quicker, but I was fairly busy all last week. depending on how fast these go, and if those who purchased them like them, I'll make many more. here's a list of those who have already contacted me, just need to confirm who wants what. Gotrice - 1x P.Phresh - 2x Firestorm X - 1x Anthon - 1x And here are those who just posted in this thread that they wanted one. Off_Kilter - 1x Adamlxlx - 1x Thats 5 reserved, 2 unconfirmed. so I have 5 available. the valves are $10 +$2 shipping regular mail (Cushion Envelope) the valves are 6061 T6 aluminum, it's been hollowed out to be as light as possible, and an impact resistant plastic bumper has been inserted into the rear of the valve body to minimize damage to the valve's back side as well as the steel cross pin that holds it in place inside the loading nozzle/cup.

I'd be in for some as well if I ever get an mp7... I don't think my m226 needs one it might shoot under 350 already.
