There's one for the M14 and the other for the PDW.

I installed this on my we scar. I didn't cut anything. I think cutting it allows you to adjust the fps higher than what the gun shoots stock. Without cutting it, i was able to adjust the npas without issue.

Npas OB for Scar
I tried checking on the RA tech website for the NPAS install for the OB SCAR and I didn't see one. Ross, do you have a link for how you did your SCAR? Or is it the same as the PDW. According to the website it stops at "step 8", what do you do after making the cross in the nozzle?

RA TECH WE M14 Installation 4 for bolt carrier - YouTube
I used this video for my scar. I'm pretty sure it's the same for all open bolt we guns. Just different shaped bolts. This video is the installation guide for the m14. There is a step shown in the video that suggests to cut the nozzle. I didn't do that at all. As it says this step is necessary to increase the fps. And I just wanted to reduce it to meet field requirements.

I posed the same question in the WE Scar/M4 thread which is down a bit from this one. It starts on page 6
http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthr...=130219&page=6 On my first post is a very helpful pictorial of the whole process. I did not have to cut anything off my spring. It is only if there is a little curly Q on the very end of the spring which would hinder getting the adjustment tool through. That was the only part that was confusing me. |
