Im currently hoping to hear back from bent barrel airsoft (red deer)
hopefully they can be more helpful and professional then the "pros" iv dealt with so far they usually have good prices too.... ill keep you all posted on this as i go. The rifle is badass so far so i would recommend it off of what iv seen so far...may eventually make a review and ill keep yall posted as i figure out the mag thing. This is my first ares (last gun was a G&G) so iv really got nothing to base it off of except what i see first hand performance wise. |

I have the exact same gun. Ares model number is AR-015. The FF-M stands for Free Floating-Medium barrel length and as someone else said the lower receivers are all the same with this minor exception. This model is slightly different in the area where the receiver and outer barrel meet because free floating barrels are thicker in diameter than regular M4 rifles. The problem I think you may have is with the hop-up. I would check it is seated properly and the spring on top is in place.

a little late reply.. I had the same problem.. just took a flat screwdriver, and bent the top of the hole for the "maglock" (don't know the name for it..) so it would stick better.. No Problem Anymore
