I went with the pin idea in the end. Here's some pictures (and some just to show off my awesome custom laser markings XD).









I honestly think this is the best way to go. And in case you are worried about an insanely small hole on your lower, you can just make another instance of the pin which is shorter, and only covers the length of the hole. By the way, the pin is a nail, so it won't come out either side, since from the inside it's against the triggerbox.

I'd suggest getting some roll pins.. they have less a chance of coming out. I think they are like 3 cents each@spaenaur

Ah, someone's getting tempted!
As I mentioned on a previous post, the pin is a cut down nail, so it's got a big round head on the other side, and since it goes against the triggerbox (there's just enough space between the lower receiver walls and the triggerbox to fit the nail heads), it won't go to either side.
I just ordered a conversion kit, by the way, I'm sure I'll eventually need to replace my nozzle, bolt and hop up.

I guess I am retarded cause I still can't figure out how it's not falling out. So from what I understand, there is a head on the nail that is on the other side. I understand how that side can't get pushed in any farther. But on the side in the picture, there is no head on the nail. It looks like I can push it with my finger and it would pull out the side with the head. You say that there is just enough space between the walls of the receiver and the trigger box. Meaning it's actually sandwiching the nail?

The reason why I am getting all excited about this, is because I think I'm going to do it.

And I thought the best way to go about it was filing down the selector. Oh well.
You take a nail, cut it in half. Grab your lower, make a hole that fits the "pin" part of the nail, drive it from the inside. The head gets sandwiched and doesn't move, and it can't come out, because the hole is only as big as the "pin" and not the head. I used a file to make the end of the pin round n' nice.
