Yes, but when you go into the individual pages you can select what camo pattern you want (woodland, 3des, etc)

What about the Helikon SFU jacket? You'd have to remove the lower pockets, but it's otherwise good to go:

I did this mod to one of my Black BDU.
I used the bottom pouches as they where small enough to fit the shirt arms. I kinda had to reshape the way they expand, so they don't sag too much if loaded.

The hardest part was finding material to fit the colar. I un-sowed the regular colar, flipped it upside down and extended the flaps so it can go "madarin style". I had to use different fabric, as I did not have extra BDU material to make the mod. I used some random black fabrick that matched the black of the BDU. It was softer too, so It's a plus for my neck.

The hard part is the colar. And if your are not lucky, you will have to undo the arms to be able to sow the pockets on the shoulders. Like I had to do with my Cadpat BDU that I also "RAID'd" minus the colar.

I have done a couple raid mods to my own bdu's with simplicity in mind. All i did was take the chest pockets and moved them to the arms and added velcro and angled them inwards a bit so they were a little more accessable. Then i took the bottom pockets and moved them to the chest. I also angled these inwards. This way with a rig or vest on i could still slide my hand under the vest and access the adjacent pocket. All this was done with maybe $4.00 spent on material which was the velcro.

If you search SWG RAID MOD's you should hopefully maybe some more info. Here is a link to a company that sells them but if you scroll down you can get some ideas of what i am talking about.

I'm not planning to mod the collar. It's mainly replacing the front button closure with a zipper, moving the top pouches to the arms and the bottom pouches either to the chest or to the bottom of the pants... I'm still debating on that part.

As soon as I'm done with my goddamit distance course for Cegep.... These are killing me.

Thanks everyone for the tips!

Regarding the TRU uniforms, here I'm not only looking at the functionnality but also the look I'm looking to acheive, which is to be as close as possible to the BDU mods found within SOCOM.

Ive got a set of woodland and three color desert raid mod'd.
Mine have no pockets (other then the little pen pouch) left on the front. The upper pockets moved to the arms on an angle with buttons left in place. 4" velcro ID on the pockets , pretty simple mod.
I have seen the lower pockets moved to the chest and slanted inward. I have also see some instances where the lower pockets were put on the calf of the pants and very rare occasions actually moved and slanted outward to the kidney area. The latter being more useful for dm's , snipers , cct's and others who spend more time prone.
Its a kit mod so really there isnt a "wrong way" mod the bdu's based on your role and your current equipment.

Check out MM's raid mod'd bdu's.

I realize this is a pretty straightforward project, but in case anyone's having trouble I did a short tutorial over on airsoft barracks.

Here's my RAIDED old school choco-chip bdu shirt. Not sewn yet just pinned, trying to figure out the best angle for the arm pockets/velcro placement. Then il have to find a tailor shop :P

Next i want to do it with an old CF OD shirt.

Combat shirt + modified pants.

Shirt is a medium... it's too big for me, but a small is too tight, so that's the best I could do. Ain't profesionnal level, but I'm very happy with it.

With some gear on:

The only thing I did on the pants is the stretch panel on the back (which can be seen on these pics) and velcro on the back pocket.

I'll probably add velcro to the bottom instead of the strings, but for now, all the mods I did on the pants are visible.

I want that vest in the last picture. Gimmie it!

Edit: Don't want to side track the post - OD is so much fresher than RG. Plus Pouches are easier to come by.

Did that myself, which is why it's so imperfect :P Took me quite a while as I've had a hard time with needles breaking for no reason...

I used that: http://www.surpluspontrouge.com/en/s...rt/coyote-tan/
