I've had experience with this gun
http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_inf...oducts_id=5319 Chrono'd at ~385 with .30g bbs, has a hi-cap mag, semi and full auto selector switch, has a very strong and well-built free-float RIS, has flip up iron sights, and it comes in at less than 300$ (minus the add-ons such as a scope/bipod/sling which came out to about 115$). The effective range was about 170-185 feet, and had no real problems besides a mis alignment in the wiring that was easy to fix (was told it was an isolated problem)

snipersam thanks for the link to the rifle. Overall he wants a good quality semi auto rifle for the sniper role. he currently is using a bolt action and its just awful to use after being spotted in a skirmish. I recommended the SR25 to him so Im happy to see you posted a variant of the rifle. The crane stock is a huge bonus!
Anyone have any experience with the JG SR25? I hear good stuff about it and it shows to consistently chrono ~420 fps out of the box. |
