You're making an Mk18 Mod1 or a random doasilike gun?

The KAC M4QD is the SOPMOD package silencer. You can pick another, but it just won't be accurate to what you're saying you want.

Looking GREAT Gunny!

I really like it. Definitely get a KAC QDSS-NT4 suppressor if you want a military Mk.18 Mod.1, if you want one but don't want to replicate any military look then go with whatever suppressor you'd like. It's all about preferences.

Where did you get the Socom Gear barrel nut for G&P Receivers?

Also, is that a G&P 553?

Got the barrel nut from Jagprecision, well...A friend of mine deals with them here on ASC

Or you can also get it from stryke airsoft...

http://www.strykeairsoft.com/shop/in...roducts_id=764

And the Eotech 553 is A HURRICANE 553

PS: The barrel nut is a perfect fit fot the ''castle nut'' part of your standar armorer's wrench, so no need of special tool to tighten it

mmm so... I'm having a hard time deciding which PEQ to purchase for this gun....

I will definetly buy a m3x, and double tap switch, but I dont know which model of PEQ would look better....

- PEQ-15

OR

- PEQ 16a?

And also what color would look better? black of DE?

It depends on what look you want.

I'd recommend going with a green laser PEQ-15 in FDE. But that's only me and I really like how SEALs set up their rifles...

I also have a PEQ-16A but since you're already buying an M3X then I'd go with a PEQ-15 to keep things low profile and more streamlined.

Again, I like FDE alot and think it will look great with your 553 and RIS II. However, some people such as DOC over at GGI love black!

Haha, yeah, just ordered a PRO&T peq-15, m3x and double tab switch in DE color from EBairsoft...

And I'll go with a KAC style silencer aswell

I might also lightly paint the eotech, m3x, peq, switch with krylon, so that the color match a little more

Good lookin!

Spraying everything is a good idea, I personally like to see different shades of FDE and tan but matching shades is also good.

Can't wait to see the final product. I am just waiting for a SpecterDR that doesn't cost $1500 to be released.

How's your gun shooting by the way?

Update!

Just got a KAC silencer and the RA-tech rubber last week from airsoft parts....

The markings on the KAC silencer were so cheap, I had to paint it, and while I'm at it, I also painted my "SALMON-pink tan" color Hurricane Eotech 553, with the help of some krylon camouflage...

here's the result....

And some pics with excessive sun light on them... :S

Still missing :

Coming in this week:

- PEQ-15
- Double tap switch

(They will get the same treatment as the Eotech and KAC silencer imo.... )

Still to come

- m3x long (EBairsoft still hasnt shipped it yet... -_-')
- RA-tech bolt, bolt catch and buffer (ETA next week... )
- 5KU Anti-rotation links (to hide the smashed hammer pin and the chipped off paint from inserting the hammer and trigger pins :S)
