From what I understand, the STS is also a good way of increasing durability by taking the vibrations and sending them into the body.

Also, Amos, you mentioned piston heads with an airbreak. Where would I go about finding one of those? Don't believe I've ever seen one for sale before, and it'd be quite beneficial in my situation. Thanks.

I wrote a review of the STS system here: http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthr...ght=sts+review


I got my hands on a cracked V2 gearbox and I will do some testing with that and the STS.

If you are concerned about your gearbox destroying itself, and you had a choice of only one; either Sorbo or STS I would pick STS.

Sure, if the sts fit around the ultimate hopup tracer, absolutely.
