VA lowers are infinitely stronger than their uppers, so a metal upper would make it a very sturdy gun.

I have the m16a3 from VA as a loaner. I used it today because I didn't want to game my sopmod at a VN themed game. It has alright range and groupings, could use a tightbore and a better hop up, the outer barrel assembly isn't as sturdy as I would like (3 piece system in this particular model), but other than that it's not a bad entry level gun.

Ares/STAR mags double fed in the gun, MAG mags worked 95% of the time (a few double feeds).

I reviewed a JG gun from VA recently. Just check, probably on the 2nd or 3rd page.

If something breaks, just buy another Drop in gearbox for 75 bucks

Front Wired. According to reviews putting the battery in the front hand grip is a pain in the.. Butt.

get a full stock or crane stock if you wire it to the rear and you wont have to worry with a peq
