Or if you want really cheap make some out of duct tape. Seriously turn the first layer inside out and out a layer over that so there is no sticky side out. Then keep a small part with sticky side left to stay closed.

Ye you could make mag pouches with duck tape the way he said. Just like people used to make wallets with duck tape. I might even do that for myself cause I'm just getting in too.

Give me a bit snd I'll make one to show you how easy it is.

Edit: Just made one, it took less than 8 minutes, and works fine. I admit it doesn't look great but I just tore off the tape with my teeth, if you use a knide and take a bit of care it will work out just fine

the shipping cost is high sure but I think thats because of the low price on the gear, it is worth it for a hold you over vest/ rig. I'd receommend trying ABC downtow kitchener for a vest, bring mirich a coffee it always helps. If not really put up a wanted on here and see what that gets you.

BTW takes about 2-3 weeks from airsoft-club and I'm assuming Ehobby is about the same.

You put a strap with one sticky side and strap it for your leg. Or make a loop for the belt to go through.

I got mine from an army surplus store in downtown Kitchener. I got a black double M4 mag pouch one. They had them in CADPAT too. Should be easy. BTW I paid 15$ for it.

there are simple chest rigs available in the classifieds for $30-$50:

You can probably get cheapy tac vests for around $50 at your local army surplus stores.

and about teh bdu, ya i have bdu, they should be arriving this week, but i wouldnt wanna risk losing my mags bcuz they fell outta my pockets, need something with closure or that will hold the mag in place sturdily

Armyissue.com, one of the better surplus stores happens to have some mp5 pouches right now...I was just on the website before logging on here and saw them.

Why not just use a backpack? Just any old backpack.

Rebel style.

Re: cheap way to carry mags, ideas??

How many mags are you trying to carry?

Just get a couple 3 mag molle mp5 pouches and mount them on any belt you already own or get a cheap duty belt. Alternatively, get a 2x triple m4 molle pouch with lids. What would fit 6 m4 mags will hold 8 mp5 mags. When you get your vest, use these pouches as utility pouches or a pistol holster. I'll post a link to what I mean when I get to a pc.

thanks for all the great info guys!!!

got plenty of budget mag carrying ideas now

1st i think ill go check out the local k-w surplus again and the abc military store downtown, and ill jsut bring a mag with me and see if they have any cheap pouches that a couple mags will fit into.

ive got 6 metal lo caps and 1 metal hi cap, not sure if ill be using the hi cap or not though...mite carry it around as a just incase i run outta ammo, lol

if i cant find anything i mite give the duct tape idea a try

and lastly if all else fails ill probably just order the pouches off armyissue

Triple MP5 mag pouches, bottom of the page:

$14 each! Add this to the cheapest MOLLE vest you can get your hands on, and you have a great looking setup for cheap.
