I run 30 round pmags, so low ammo of full auto fire.
Could I run a 11.1 Lipo in this gun? I am still figuring out the Lipo conversion, so which specific battery, ie 11.1v 2200mAh 25C??? Thanks |

Generally speaking, a properly tuned airsoft gun between 350-400fps would run well (actually, on the brisk side) on most 15-20C batteries, LIPO or otherwise, provided the voltage is above 8.4v and the mAH is above 1100mAH.
11.1v LIPO would be fine, but I'd aim for a pack that's no more than 20C.

Can anyone point me towards a quality 11.1 lipo that will fit in the stock tube from a good source. Thanks

Instead of 11.1 I'd suggest a 7.4 high C rating, it's easier on your trigger contacts.

If you are still in GP, go down to Splatter Paintball. They have a bunch in the RC section.

Which 7.4 should I get, or 11.1 for that matter. Specific models would be nice.
I am looking at hobbyking but dont know which model would fit a stock tube. |

Anyone have some chronos for this gun? I'm just wondering how it will play on big outdoor woods..
While I don't want to rely on Wikipedia: Quote:
Also: What kind of battery fits this gun? I'm not interested in LiPo.. I don't want a crazy rate of fire either, I rather have a bat that would last me a whole day of about 2000-3000 rounds. I'm guessing something in the 8.4V.. but what configuration and where can I buy it? Last edited by GODSPEED|seven; April 25th, 2010 at 15:38.. |

Ive ran my Sopmod for 3 months now chrono's at 376 average with .20's and 338 with .25's and similar with .28's.................quality is amazing not one problem encountered in all conditions running all day on a 9.6 1600.
good rate of fire excellent range no stoppages, from crawling thru a swamp to playing in freezing snow conditions the Vfc has performed the same. yesterday saw another 2000 .28's fired thru her and at one point the rifle was even dropped while making a panicked run to a building never missed a beat, i highly recommend the VFC Sopmod to anyone |

For a longer lasting batter you want to look at the mAh generally, not the voltage. Also, if you go too low on voltage the battery may struggle turning the motor of the gun if your spring is a stiffer one.

I got the email this morning, my VFC Sopmod came in and will be shipped to me with tracking # today . Too bad redwolf screwed up my order and I won't have any BB's in time for when it gets here
EDIT: I received an email saying my gun was tested before shipping and shot 396-406 fps in 13C temperature. Last edited by Percuvius; April 27th, 2010 at 21:37.. |
