Haha! Very nice. Must have been really cool to see that.

It was awsome to see the trip down memory lane it induced, He said they were just as dangerous to fire them then to be on the receiving end lol.

If you haven't already done it, I would suggest sitting down with your grandfather and listening to every story he will tell you. It's living history at your feet. Don't let his memories be lost with him.

I picked up an AGM Sten a few weeks ago along with a King Arms 335mm silencer and a Prometheus 6.03 363mm Stainless Tightbore from airsoftparts.ca.

The Canvas Hand Guard (second pattern) is from HT&C Reproductions Ebay Store.

The Sten wire stock should arrive any day along with some 70mm x 30mm 7.4V Lipos. I have a couple of Sten pistol grips and they should fit with some minor modifications for that SOE look.

Shoots 388 fps.

Taking it to FR on May 15 for some trigger time and to work out any bugs.

I made a MK2S out of a Viva Sten last year. This year I figured I'd make one out of an AGM Sten.

AGM Sten MK2S

The MK2S survived the rain at Flag Raiders today. I was using a mix of 3 year old and BNIB AGM MP40 mags. The new AGM MP40 mags kinda suck. The bb release on 3 of the 6 BNIB mags are ultra sensitive. Looks like I have some filing to do. Guess that's why they are only nine bucks a piece.

The MK2S conversion is pretty easy to do. Drill two holes and tap in the three screw threads. Drill 3 holes in the silencer and voila. 335mm KA silencers are available at airsoftparts.ca. The paint on the suppressor is a good match colour-wise with the AGM Sten.
