You've probably been asked before, but you seem real friendly so I'll take my chances lol. Why do you have a CADPAT nametape? why not order the black ones?

I don't bite and don't flame hehe
My black Nametape is in the mail. hehe My bulletproof vest is made to be under my shirt. I don't have the exterior carrier yet (I was going to buy it then changed my mind because I don't need one right now). Playing with full armor is very hot. But it's not that worst. I can manage it. I love the realism. What about civilian cloth = attention? I don't catch this one. I want to portray a swat officer or something like it. And a full team all in black is a kick ass look. That's why the real swat are all black. It's suposed to scare the thugs... In the field, I play in cadpat or ghillie suit (when sniping).

I was speaking on CCW's. I can't see how ANYONE who properly conceals their gun (let's take a trip state-wise, for the moment, to put ourselves in a realistic position, CCW's are non-existent in Canada) who would want to wear body armour. If it doesn't attract attention itself, it'd be damned uncomfortable to wear. At least I think, but, head over to a few US forums, some are crazy nuts that feel lvl III armour is "just sufficient" for daily life, and all they have is a CCW, with the possibility of even just drawing the firearm almost nil!
(the /= meant it "does not equal"... nerdy programming stuff... ... sorry) Yet some still do it. (Here's one of those forums: http://lightfighter.net/eve/ubb.x - great guys, deathly serious, but a few are a little more then just "avid" to say the least...)

Ok now I get it hehe
My vest is pretty confortable under a shirt. It's bulky, but give a nice feeling. It make you bigger. In my case, I need the extra bulk since Im framed on a cat hahaahah  Working an 8h shift with that vest under my shirt in 30c is pretty unconfortable. Especially if your tshirt under it is not absorbant or hot. Since I use a tactical vest for airsoft, I just wear it over my BDU. It's a little lest bulky and little cooler.

I don't know where in Québec city, but in Montreal and other lost little town up north, I know a few good one.
If you happen to go to Montreal, Don't miss "Surplus Internationnal" located on St-Catherine and st-Laurent. It's on St-Laurent, near a metro exit (Don't remember wich one). This surplus have TONS of stuff.

for vests, i have one worn under clothes (but also have external carrier for certain special events). best investment i made to go along with this was an Underarmour shirt to go between the vest and me. saps away any sweat and very comfy, doesn't rub.

Anywan wanting a bullet proof vest but don't need it for real, I would suggest those copy sold on WGC... They don't cost a lot and provide the same look and almost the same feel. A real one cost more than 500$, a copy is less than 100$. If I had the choice, I would take the copy anytime.
As a mather of fact, I have a set of replica SAPI plates comming in... Since the real one cost a ton of money and I don't need them, yet... ;-)
