The former:
The port on your nozzle and the port on the magazine are misaligned, causing the blowback mechanism to not function and consequently not retracting the valve striker, venting the magazine. Often happens when you have a double feed or when your bolt fails to seat completely. |

Is there a way to solve this issue?

Lubrication, making sure parts aren't interfering with each other, and checking your nozzle for any major wear and tear. Check how well oiled the nozzle o-ring is, and check to see if the spring used to retract the nozzle is in good condition.

Have they come out with an npas kit for a we scar?

Ages ago... it's the same as the M4s..
Open-bolt actually uses the same for all guns. Closed-bolt requires Version3 or above, as the SCAR/M4s where not identical before that. The only difference now is the lenght of the guide rod. |

I noticed my loading nozzle is sticking slightly inside were the plastic piece meets with the hop up rubber? When I manually cycle the bolt, i can see that the nozzle stays in place briefly before popping back. I have inspected the nozzle and oiled the o ring with silicon oil.. the nozzle itself looks completely fine as does the return spring. Is this normal? Or could it be why the gun vents all the gas from magazines randomly.

Mine stick for the first half inch of travel (just enough to see it) then pops back. The tip of the nozzle interfaced with the rubber, not the hop-up chamber, so it might get stuck. It could cause the venting you are getting (especially if your bolt locks back when the venting occurs). |

Quick question for you guys - where do you guys usually go locally for spare WE parts?
I'm looking for a spare OB M4 hop up chamber assembly, the only place I've found that has them so far is Blowback Armory but their shipping prices are really high. I miss Airsoft Buddy. |

Note for L85 users. I just put in an npas today with no modification to the air nozzle and the crono is giving me positive feedback. If there are any other L85 users out there please PM me.

I just got a bunch of replacement nozzles delivered this morning from Airsoft Parts Canada. A couple of weeks ago I got a number of the current generation M4 gas mags from them. Usually, if I need to order from WGC, eHobby, or Red Wolf, I scan their site for available WE parts, and order in whatever I might need to tide me over. I don't order from U.S. retailers, because their postal system is ridiculously slow, or they want to ship via UPS. I can always get parts from Asia in half the time it takes to get them from the States. Airsoft Parts Canada delivers in a matter of only a few days.

Hey guys,
So I'm trying to install the NPAS kit on my HK416 right now, and am stuck on trying to push that little pin out. It's being really stubborn and I don't know if I should apply more pressure to force it out... Any thoughts? |

There is quite a few. The first large one across the bolt carrier only goes out one way. Then you have to remove the plastic guides for the nozzle. And the last little pin across the nozzle is really easy to remove and can slide both ways. |

Its actually the first pin that I was referring to across the bolt carrier. Didn't know it goes only one way. That might help things!
