Removing the push rod shield appears to have stopped the light strike issue.
On to my next question can anyone tell me which tube extension marries up with barrel lengths to give a similar length. For example 20" barrel with 7.5 "extension. 24" barrel with 11" extension. I have the Tactical and I'm looking to fit a longer barrel and tube set |

Hey guys, I recently picked up a heavily used stack 870. Only things I have done has gotting it a pistol grip and a shorten it to a 4 round + 1 tube due to limited shells at moment.
The first week of plinking it to try custom wading (which works) went fine. Now I am stuck with a nearly dead 870. Issues: - Shells after half loading when pumped - Shells jamming requiring multiple pumps to load - Earlier it suffer the loose pump/bolt where you needed to pump hard as hell forward to work - Now it will not let me fire the hammer with a shell loaded. Without a shell it works but with loaded shell it is dead. I am a few hundred dollars in the hole if I cant' get this running. |

Does the fore-grip wobble a bit on everyone elses and is there a way to make it more solid? O-rings? The bolt stop appears to be a weak point in the design with two little screws holding it in there, even though its counter sunk into the frame to take some of the force off the screws I feel as though they will eventually snap. Overall impressed with the build quality on the SAI version. Looks like the only thing that may need to upgrade first is the bolt, which is not made of steel like the aftermarket version.

Hi,
I just received my sf and want to remove the 14 inch barrel to put on a magpul forend. I cannot seem to get the barrel off the receiver. Can anyone help? How do I get the barrel off? Thx Update....my barrel was just stuck and with a lot of work I was able to remove it. I now have installed original magpul buttstock and forend. It looks awesome!! Thx

Shell Charger leaking
Hey Had a question.
Dont know if anyone still talks on here but I just got the aps cam870 shell ejecting shotgun and was looking forward to shooting it be the co2 charger would always leak through this small hole under the nob you use to refill the shells with gas. I could not figure out for the life of me what was lose for I tightened everything as much as it could go. The only thing that did not seem to tighten all the way down was the part thats supposed to pierce the bottom co2 but I don't think that would cause a leak up there. Hope someone can help and thanks |

Hi,
For anyone still not knowing which forearm with light fits the CAM 870 I can assure you that the G&P forearm for Marui (GP-MSP005) fits quite well without much modding to do. All I needed to do was to apply few layers of duct tape to the craddle on the CAM870. Craddle of CAM870 has smaller outside diameter than the inside hole in the forearm for Marui. Next I needed to put a spacer between the forearm front and the nut that is screwed on the front of the craddle - this is because the forearm for marui is a litlle bit shorter (about 4 mm) - I used zip tie as a spacer and it works well. Next I needed to file down a little of the forearm metal in the middle of the forearm because it was comming in contact with the barrel near the reciever. As a result I needed to use much force to push te forearm forward. If someone is interested I can upload some pictures Also I've seen that the APS has released a new type of shells - they are called Smart Cartridge. Anyone got thier hands on them ? |

Hey guys,
Are there any side saddles that will work without any modifications that will fit both the shells and onto the gun? If not, are there certain saddles you’d recommend? Thanks!
