New APS

I've never been a fan of APS, but seeing all these reviews of their new lineup of AEGs and gearboxes really got me thinking. Has anybody had any experience with these?

I dont know if I've gotten lucky, but the past three APS guns i've owned generally work fine. Some research will show that people either love them or hate em. Their m4's (asr-107,109) are full metal and looks/feel great. The wiring on their guns are actually really good too. As for the internals-only time will tell, but no problems for me. Their ak-74 upper receiver rattles like a tin can though.. Still not a huge deal for the price.

A teammate has been running stock APS internals in a frankengun all last season. Not anything crazy fancy, but it'll do the job. I'd be wary of long term reliability, though.

The new guardian AEG, looks really nice. The internals look decent at par with JG, the blowback feature doesnt look at crappy as it was before too.

The guys at the local shop have had nothing but problems with them. Even the rifle that was sent to them to give a review on didn't work.
