In Country on Facebook
If you remember In Country, you've been into the Vietnam Reenacting/Airsoft scene since at least 2005. That's a long time to be committed to something, especially in the world of airsoft. For those of you who don't know what it is, there's no time like the present to learn.
In Country was a group of Canadian Vietnam Reenactors and Airsofters. A website that was set up for them that expanded out into the world and became a focus point for Vietnam Airsofters around the globe. After 7 years of down time, In Country is making a slow comeback and it's starting with an official facebook site. It's starting local, with Canadian Vietnam reenactors and airsofters. But the direction it goes after that will be up to it's users. If you have a passion for history, research, and the entire Vietnam War period, regardless of what facet drives you, like the page. If the desire to do more is there, get involved! Get in touch if you feel like contributing and we'll see if we can't find a spot for you in the bunker. One step at a time. Remembering, Professionally. http://www.facebook.com/pages/In-Cou...83722211694964

As I've mentioned to every single person with a solid impression, you are ALWAYS welcome.
Whether it's just to shoot the shit, or if you want to come down to one of our events, you have a place on the line with the rest of the grunts. Hell, we're well on our way to making our yearly trip to the Southern Ontario Military Muster a god damned party over night. This year our bunker had Christmas lights in it.

I guess it'd be more 2013 for any events since I have a lot of work to have an impression as complete as what I used to have. Still have my complete webbing, tropical ruck, parachute material bush hat (MF skull), poncho. Basically need to rebuild my A1, get some new fatigues, boots and find the courage to drive 7hrs to meet some people who have similar interest into Nam as I have. Guess it's time to wake up Porkchop as well!

Yeah, get that old man out of bed.
Listen, it's one hell of a drive for you. I won't lie. However, we're there all the way from Thursday night until Sunday evening, and we're provided with legitimate bunkers, armour, and in the case of this year, air support. I don't know if you'll find a better group of VN collectors and reenactors in Canada. If they're out there, I'm wondering why they're not down here visiting us. We're building some close relationships with a lot of folks who run serious equipment. We're running more realistic and dedicated reenactments, and we're doing a great job of meeting vets and educating the public. If you want to come, let us know. I'm certain we can fill in the gaps in your uniform if you're still missing stuff by the time next year rolls around.

Who's using my name in vain?!!
I'll call a Kiwi fire mission on your AO and turn the grid over Might be able to wiggle something in Aug 2013. Just need to finish the stock on my SLR and take another look at the Muzzle brake for my MAG58. Oh, couple of shells for the boom stick be nice, too.
