King Arms Vltor body pivot pin removal?
I'm completely stumped right now. I am able to properly remove the rear body pin such that it locks in place on the body. But when I try to remove the front takedown body pin it doesn't even budge. I've even tried lightly tapping it out but it doesn't move. :banghead:
Anyone have some suggestions on making it pop out? |

Tap harder?

Drop the tap lightly and now try "tap firmly". It will come.

Go straight for the 40 pound sledge.

It's probably seized. If you're going to tap "firmly"...take care.
- if they're locking (i.e. screw cap) body pins, use a rod/allen key that'll fit into the pin...tap on the rod so you don't mark up the body - support the backside of the receiver as much as possible...AEG bodies are made of crap metal...even $300+ bodies will crack/break - drop or two of penetrating lube might help (probably not much though) - take a 5min breather... |

right now I'm taking a huge breather. I've waited long enough to get this body here I can wait some more to figure out how to properly open it up.
Thanks for all the suggestions! |
