Hicapa Problem
I have a KJW KP-05 that had a broken disconnect, and I found a replacement for it, but for some reason now the slide will catch on the hammer. It seems to me that the hammer is not locking back fully. anybody know what is wrong with it? I'm sure it's an easy fix I just don't know what to fix.

Can't fix my own guns. Willing to fix yours.

You used the wrong disconnector
The kjw one is different than the tm and Other clones because the kimber frame takes a Slightly different disconnector |

How would that make the hammer stick up a little more though, it doesn't make any sense. The gun works fine, but when the slide cycles it gets hung up by the hammer, it would seem to me to be a problem other than the disconnect.
