KJW 1911 hi capa fires full auto?

I need some help here. My KJW 1911 shoots full auto and sometimes the slide gets jammed halfway through the cycle. I think its a broken disconnector. But i'm not too sure. I'll post pics as soon as possible.

Update** PICS:

Remove hammer spring housing.
Remove leaf spring.
Check for damaged parts.
Check for bent leaf spring.
Reassemble.

If is still does it, you can have a worn slide or disconnector.

Full auto would be leaf/sear spring, like Kos-Mos said. Big +1 since KJW leaf springs (big shiny thin piece of sheet metal with three prongs on one end) are pretty much crap.

Slide getting jammed is probably something to do with your BBU internals... but could be something funky with disconnector like you said.

I heard some rattling so i took the gun apart and found a loose silver piece moving about. It won't come out but it rattles all over the place. The pic is in the first post. It seems to me that something has snapped.

Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... that's not healthy, lol.

Track down a replacement/aftermarket Hi-Capa disconnector set (no, 1911 disconnectors don't fit). No guarantee that TM or TM aftermarket will fit out of the box though - that's sort of hit and miss with clones. Nooblord, what did you replace yours with?

a TM one will NOT work
the KJW hicappa uses a kimber frame, and the kimber frame needs a slightly different disconnector, I replaced mine with a TM and it DID NOT work

From having worked on my KJW 5.1...

The TM disconnector will probably require very little work to fit and work. Try and test it after every little modification until it works.

Also keep the broken parts to have a guide on how/where to modify the part.
