Gun's not firing
I recently upgraded my V3 mechbox with a systema magnum motor and all new internals (not wiring) [M120 spring]. I have an 8.4 1100 mah mini and When I first test fired the gun the pistol went nearly all the way back but it stopped to soon. It stopped about 3-4 teeth to soon. I swapped out the motor just in case it was defective. Same result. I opened the sucker up and I noticed my wires where really hot near the battery and there is now black stuff *assuming it overheated?* near the mini connectors leading to the fuse area. Did the wiring fail? Or did the fuse go on me? Is it the switch? Is the battery just not strong enough (It was on a full charge). The piston was not damaged and the gears move fine/are properly shimmed.

Sounds like you're using too thin of wires causing lots of resistance and the battery doesn't have enough power. Also the mini connectors are crap as they cause a lot of resistance. In some cases, its enough to melt the 2 parts of the plugs together. Best bet is to probably get a better battery, rewire the gun with 16 gauge wire, and replace the plugs with low resistance deans plugs.
