Question: Possible to bring over airsoft guns from hongkong?

While i was in hong kong last year, my cousin was kind enough to show airsoft street in hong kong. What an amazing place! I didnt buy any guns because i wasnt sure about the customs policy on airsoft guns. Some people told me if i took apart the gun, placed it into several different pieces of luggage, and declared it, then it is possible.

Does anyone know how i can bring over airsoft guns?

what's the point of taking it apart then if you were going to declare it?

the answer is no, you cannot import airsoft guns yourself.

no, taking it apart and placing it in your luggage is useless because you would have to claim it, and because you cant bring them across it would be seized. if you didnt claim it the x ray would see it plain as day even if its in pieces it will still resemble a gun and you will be charged for smuggling, and because its a gun, and if you are foreign or of a different ethnic descent that may be very, very bad.

I once had a zippo in my luggage that wasnt closed and security pulled my aside for me to watch them tear up my luggage because the open zippo's L shape resembled a gun. and that was in a developing country, Canada customes are pretty top notch and full of pissed off white dudes. dont wanna mess with them
