KA and G&G M14 mag compatibility
Hey,
I'm just wondering if the King Arms magazines fit in the G&G M14, as I know that the G&G isn't compatible with all mags. Thanks. |

G&G and CA M14 mags have a large notch missing on the top of the magazine, towards the rear. Any magazines that do not have that missing notch is not compatible with G&G and CA M14s.

Would that mean that CA and G&G mags are compatible then? I'm assuming that KA won't be compatible with a G&G M14 because I'm pretty sure that KA mags are compatible with the TM M14.

CA M14 is a clone of the G&G M14.
I know KA makes TM M14 mags. I'm not aware of KA making G&G/CA M14 mags, but I haven't checked recently.

The only KA M14 mags I've seen to date only fit in TM and its clones. I'm not sure if they make any mags for CA/G&G. I can't speak from experience, but I've read a lot of complaints from CA / G&G M14 owners who couldn't source anything but high-cap mags. Not sure how valid those claims are.

Yeah, I've been doing alot of research on the G&G and from what I know is that its only compatible with its own mags, I just read here (read mag suitable for) that it was compatible with the G&G, but I guess that it was assumed that since it was a M14 mag, it was compatible with all M14's. Perhaps a TM is the better choice in this case, although the walnut wood stock on the G&G is really nice.
