Your Suggestion For A Kickass Sniper Riffle

Hi guys; Gordo here again with a simple one for you.

What is your favorite SNIPER RIFFLE and WHAT MAKES IT SO GOOD.

To me the main quality of a sniper riffle should be accuracy, followed closely by range.

It doesn't matter if it's a springer or a GBB or a AEG, if it's a long barreled "SNIPERish" looking airsoft gun, I would love to hear about it.

Thanks

Gordo

P.S. Pictures are always appreciated!

My Tanaka Kar98k. Before i got mine, i got to use a friends, his clocked at 377 on a spring day with .30g! The accuracy is ridiculous. When i got to shoot it, it when straight and then out of sight because the accuracy and range is so good. While not a cold weather gun, so long as the temp is comfortable, the gun will shoot consistently, accurately and fast. what more can you want right? and since i dont play airsoft in the winter, this gun is a great choice for me. Plus once i join up with the WWII guys, i have a great infantry gun

As for upgrades, i have a scope, just finding a mount, a have the sling and a total of 4 mags (total of 40 shots) which should last me long enough in a game. cause going through 40 shots in one sitting is just nuts. the only performance upgrade i have bought, but not installed yet (as i dont know how) is a KM TN 6.04 mm tightbore. I think i am one of the few people actually have one. Most find the Kar98k to be accurate enough. So think how accurate it will be after i put a 577mm long TB into it =D

Tokyo Marui VSR-10 with all PDI upgrades.

PDI V-Trigger
PDI Barikaku light piston and clyinder set
PDI Piston tail-cap
PDI 6.05 530mm Tightbore
PDI 9mm spring guide
PDI 140 spring
Firefly "Spicy" hopup rubber

PDI Receiver
PDI Bull barrel base
PDI Fluted bull barrel +
PDI Bull barrel end cap
Laylax bolt-handle (Out of production! This took me forever to find!!)

Bushness Gold Trophy 1.5X - 9X scope (clearest scope I've ever used)

The only thing "Stock" on my gun... is the stock

I can accurately float BB's out to about 200 feet (this is tested in the cold... I'm hoping it'll improve in the summer )

Mmmm PDI goodness

(Stock gun on the left, mine on the right)

WINTERIZED!

The only thing I'm missing is the extended mag release button It's hard changing mags while wearing gloves.

why did you get a PDI tightbore and not a Madbull, KM, or Prometheus? PDI's are very expensive compared to the other brands and i shouldn't think that any one of the aforementioned brands are better than the next. All the brands i listed are top performers i thought?

for airsoft life, I like the L96 looks, I do not own it though. I stay true to a Dragunov simple for I love AK variants

yup, the rifle that König was using in Enemy at the Gates was in fact a Mauser Kar98k. The link you provided is my gun, save for the scope. I dont have it yet. its a great gun. Full metal (technically to comply with japanese laws, its an alloy) and full wood

Hate to break it to you, but that "UTG L96" picture is actually a Star/Ares .338 gas rifle.

It may be expensive but it's designed to work with all the other parts that I've got in the gun.

+ The fact that VSR's use special barrels (the same kind used in Marui GBB's)... so the only Madbull or Prometheus barrels I could get would be about 4 inches lol

Bolt action spring sniper rifles will out preform AEG sniper rifles 8 times outta 10.

Just.. don't cheap out. Your Jing Gong or Well sniper rifle will never be as good as the brand that the upgrade parts were DESIGNED for.

P.O.S. overall, unless you are willing to dump an equal amount of cash into it to make it a decent AEG........... which doesn't mean it'll match a good spring/gas bolt action though, it'll still be just an AEG with lots of moving parts.
