Hop-Up Rubber Sleeve
I just received my new Prometheus Soft Type Hop-Up Rubber Sleeve earlier today. When I took apart my hop-up chamber just a little while ago, I noticed that the original hop-up rubber sleeve seemed moist and slipery like as if it was coated with silicone oil. Does that mean that I'm supposed to put a light coat of silicone oil on my new hop-up rubber sleeve?

no, you're NEVER supposed to put silicone oil on you're sleeve.
what that does is it will lessen the hop up effect and basically screw up you're hop up thus accuracy. You can use silicone oil for the exterior of the rubber to help you install it, but be VERY careful not to slip any inside. |

It's a good thing that I asked on here first. Thanks for the quick reply!
