Guarder steel mag catch for the M9

The plastic mag catch on my KJW M9 Elite IA has worn out. I'm looking to buy a new one in steel to avoid the problem again. The only people I found that make one are Guarder. Most sites list it as for the TM model, only one or two mention KJW almost as an afterthought. Also during my Googling I found a post on another airsoft forum stating that this item needed alot of filing to get it to fit in the KJW model. That forum not being ASC I had no real way to judge how reliable the poster was. I've searched ASC and found no mention of this product in regards to the KJW model, or even the M9 in general. So I was hoping that someone here would be able to tell me if it'll fit?
