ICS M4 and metal hop ups

I recently purchased a KA metal hop up unit for my ICS M4. After some work trimming to make it fit, I finally got it in snuggly. But the problem is that now it doesn't feed any BBs. It fires but no BB come out. The only way it will fire once in a while is when I flip the gun over.

Your problem is the nozzle it does not match the KA hop up. I dont know if other aftermarket M4 nozzle will work on ICS but good luck though. There is one company that makes Metal hop chamber for ICS M4 and it made by "Tech-Pro".

The thing is, I know a few ICS M4 owners with metal hop ups (systema, src...) and they all work fine. So I don't think it's about the hop up, but more the way I installed it.

I have had to shave the raised edge on my nozzle a couple times to accept a different hopup on various aeg's. Just shave it on an angle and it will work fine.. Saves having that edge get caught on the front opening and not giving a full forward seal.

Hmm interesting. If you can change the ICS hop up to Systema, KA, G&P etc. and that means you can use aftermarket nozzles am I right!?.

I used a Deep Fire nozzle with no issues on my ICS hop-up.
