FirePower M5A4: Yay or Nay?
For only $80 seems pretty good... And it says it shoots 350fps (Prob with 0.12g)
So anybody know this FirePower brand? Any good? http://www.businessvision.net/edge/M...&CategoryID=72 |

My friend has a firepower pistol and for $40 bucks, i'd give it a 4 out of 10, being it's a non-blowback co2. So based on that pistol, i'd say firepower is ok for crapsoft, but not so good compared to real airsoft.

It would be nice to know where you live. If you were in the USA, i'd say save up and buy an echo. If you're in Canada (which you probably are being this is airsoft CANADA ) and don't want to cough up $350+ for an echo, mabye clearsoft, firepower or not, is your best bet.

I briefly had a Firepower M4 I got from A&A last year. Shot about 5 rounds in semi to set the hopup. I let out a short auto burst. Got about 5 rounds out of it before the mechbox made a horrible crunching sound and died.
Avoid anything with the Firepower brand.

If I may coin two phrases that are relevant to the situation.
Cost reflects quality. and You get what you pay for. I believe those two would be appropriate, if you are still interest then by all means, buy it. We have given you our opinions on it, ultimately the choice is up to you.

why not just save your money up and get a real airsoft gun? Ive gone through my share of crapsoft before i discovered real airsoft, and crapsoft just isnt worth it.

firepower is made by Tipman a good paintball company and in my opinion owning a few firepower guns i think there building these guns so they can get you into paintball ruining your 1st airsoft experiance
the only fireing that guns going to do is your pocket |

I know for a fact Firepower XM8, MP5 and M4 models are rebranded Well guns. I believe Tippman are also Well rebrands, rather than their own guns.

Army surplus in Kingston had one a while ago. I held it... I was unimpressed. It felt like if I did anything, even turned my body to quickly it would tear apart as if it was entering the atmosphere.
