TMp226 lost parts

Hey everyone, not too long ago I bought the guarder Full metal kit and a 150% spring kit for the 226. I promptly disassembled my gun and started making progress transferring the parts over. This is when the complication arose.

My cat ended up jumping into and playing with my gun's parts (namely spring P226-38) and ended up losing it and I have not been able to find it worth a damn. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could source one out or how to fabricate one (perhaps a specialty pen spring would work). Also could someone take a picture of part # p226-38 so I have a reference guide on what it should look like (this happened a little while ago). I am also curious as to what the spring (#38) is designed to do.

Cut down a Bic Lighter spring, should be narrow enough for the TM 226, im not disasembling mine to check lol, but it works on my KSC Glocks, same exact part, without any problems.

spring 38 seems like it works with the safety,

and i dono about you, but i have little springs everywhere, you just need to know where to look.

based on the size, if you could get your hands on an old aeg you dont use anymore, take out the selector plate spring

The P226 doesn't have a hammer safety, please exercise self moderation when guessing. Thank you.

That particular spring and part 39 controls the internal hammer reset. The two locks the internal hammer assembly in place after the trigger is pulled, and frees the assembly to reset when the slide cycles back and depresses them.

Sounds like it'll be worth a shot, do you think it has enough tension though? Any idea offhand on the length i should cut (I'll probably just mock it up and go from there).
