Stock KSC G17
Alright, so i have a bone stock ksc g17. With being new to the whole GBB world, parts and upgrades are confusing >.<
If from what i've read here, that the g17 internals are mostly plastic(true or not true i don't know) and with running propane this will probably cause problems down the road. All i know to upgrade so far is to upgrade the plastic slide to a metal one (if i can find/get one in) and a stronger recoil spring. So! my question to all you experts out there is, Which company upgrade parts should i look into and which ones should i stray from? and any other peices in info you want to share

there really isn't any metal slide or barrel upgrade to stay away from. They all serve the same purpose without breaking. get the tw ones if you don't care about appearance of the slide. they sell for under $100 and are made in taiwan; i think they have relations to KSC/KWA. Cosmetically nicer slides are Shooter's Design.
also you should note that when buying the metal upgrade, a enhanced recoil spring/guide-rod should be installed as well. a lot of companies make that part also, KM, Guarder, etc. as for upgrading parts, the only part i can think of that you should stay away from is the HurricanE rocket valve for KSC glocks. |

ah yes a new outer barrel, forgot about that.
it'll be ok to install a metal outer barrel but leave the plastic slide on? also what about this "Nine Ball" company? judging by there price it's a higher end part?

Best idea is to get a metal slide and barrel set. They go for about $50-$60 on eHobby.

you can have a combination of plastic and metal just fine. Nineball makes pretty good stuff along with KM and firefly.
