Custom G36c Hybrid w/ CA Crane Stock. Do you really know how to Mod?
Just got a hybrid M4 stock base adapter for my KWA G36c.

Question is how do rewire my G36c to rear without F-ing it up? Can anyone out there who actually knows what they're doing with quality customization help me with the rewiring? |

You have to make room for your wires to come out UNDER the adapter tube but dremelling the metal plate. You have maybe 3mm, after that, it will show. In the G36, you have to cut the plastic plate from the lower receiver. Stop before the notch that grabs the upper receiver, or you will run unto problems. I left about the same as the size of the notch. It would leave about 4mm under the mechbox to clear the wires. Then you can place the wires in the square hole of the adapter, in the notch of the metal plate you did and up in the buffer tube. That's it! Don't worry about the plastic plate you have to cut, it is not part of the structure of the gun, just to keep dirt away when the stock is folded. |

Best to take out the existing wiring harness and set it aside intact, and then run new wires to the motor, trigger and out the rear. Is actually easier that way than gutting the stock wiring.

Yup... I actually wired 2 extra leads from all the way in front to the rear, with a Dean Micro 4R plug inside the square hole... fits perfect, and that way I could remove the adapter and use the folding stock.

I actually had this one for extra battery storage, and I REALLY don't like the look of the G&P one...
So a crane stock was put there. It does not look half bad when completed with some other goodies, such as a nice scope, railled foregrip, vertgrip, taclight, etc. |

I did it as well... and here I thought I was being clever. Hmm, anyways, gotta cut the wires leading away from the gearbox, solder the cut wires to more wiring, (have to make it longer), and dont put connectors on until youve got the wires through the stock adapter. Drill through the adapter or burn through with a soldering iron, just a hole big enough for 2 wires. Make sure the hole goes from just off of center of the stock adapter, the buffer tube that holds the stock on will need to screw into the center, but also make sure the hole isnt so off center so as to be on the outside of the buffer tube mount, yknow, the cylinder sticking out from the adapter that the stock fits on. Once youve got the wires through, you can attach any connectors you want, I went with deans, and then throw on your crane stock.
Using a G&P A2 stock spacer with sling attachment points Ive noticed slight wobbling in the buffer tube and as a result the entire stock. Nothing noticable in battle, but still not super cool. And dont drop it when youre done... I was switching hands in battle when my front hand slipped off my forward grip, and I wasnt able to hold up the rifle with my left hand alone, so I dropped my 36 and the stock adapter cracked in half. Also ripped some wiring apart, it sucked balls. long poast is long, i know. sorry.

Found some pics of my setup. However, I don't have the gun anymore... so you will have to go with theses... You have to cut the part in blue, then the wires will clear on left and under the mechbox. As for the adapter, you can have the wire inside OR outside the tube, as buffer tubes made for stock batteries have a place to fit the wires, that way it is not squeezed by the washer of the mounting bolt. |

Ok, I get how you wired the mechbox to the back with the deans and the backpiece that needs to be cut out, but how did you get the dean connectors from the square hole in the base adapter (ur 2nd pic) into the buffer tube and what did you do with the base plate (metal peice beside the adapter in the pic below)?

I used a soldering iron to melt the part in red, so that the wires would go around the metal plate...
