it also need a wooden hand guard. if this makes it. its the one im buying when i turn 18.

I wonder if they'll make the 7.62 nato version. I don't recall if there was a (real steel) military version in 7.62 or if it was a civi model but it looked sweet.

Not exclusively true. "Although also produced in caliber 7.62mm to increase its sales on the world market, the Galil rifle as issued to the IDF is chambered for the 5.56mm. "
