Upgraded MP7 battery ??

Hey guys so I finally got my MP7 back together. I have a new tightbore longer barrel, metal spring guide, piston, piston head, cylinder, spring, bearings and I add the battery adapter.
Now I have a 8.4v 600mah battery I was going to use but I tear thru it in 7-8 mags (around 400-450 rounds) so last night at a game when my I 8.4v went down I started to use my 9.6v 1700mah battery. Am I going to screw my gun running the 9.6v, it wouldn't be a huge deal if I could repurchase the "major" internals ie gears. I have read that the motor can be replaced with a RC motor, but ideally I don't want to be replacing things.

On a side not I am thrilled how it shoots now.
