Illegal knives.

Hero, since I was 13 has sold lots of knives, many are now considered illegal (sold to underage too, bought a 12" blade when I was 13 from there).

Hero Army Surplus also sells highly over priced airsoft that they buy from canadian retailers. I'm going to assume DRP snatched them too, and the de-acts they had.

I've been following the shit storm but so far there has not been a peep about airsoft. Just his knives.

It was all over the news last night. Owner lost close to $30k worth of knives. He apparently said that everyone else sells same knives, therefore he was thinking all that stuff was legal.

If the grand total is actually $30,000 then DRP took alot more then the 50 or 60 knives he has in the front cases. De-acts, airsoft, pellet guns, knives and all his stainless steel swords, missle casings, torpedo, De-act Carl Gustav ect... might add it up.

I'd call the bull on that one. Hero doesnt have a warehouse. Whats on the floor is it. All the knives were in the front display cases.

Meh who cares anyways. Its the media were talking about, truth needs to be spiced up in order to sell.

De-act Gustav? In that case, I'm surprised Star frontpage wasn't "

Found a small video of it on the front page. Ignore the fact that someone wrote Siezed Guns instead of Knives. As you can see what they have displayed and what few items there are in the cardboard boxes are it for knives.

from the video "police say a knivfe is illegal if ... it can be opened with one hand"
thats not true, only illegal knives are spring or centrafugal (sp?) force which implies butterfly knives. perhaps they dumbed it down for viewers.

is this still airsoft-relate?

edit- now that i think about it, was there a provision about gravity assisted knives that were illegal? then that last knife they showed should fall under that.

Hmm I didn't know that butterfly knives were illegal... I thought only the ones with springs and flip out were illegal.

Hmm, the more you know..
