Star m249 + G&P RAS

Greetings,

I<ve looked high and low for an answer, so I figured I'd ask here. Are both these products compatible?

Yeah but its the same irreversable thing you have to also do a TOP m249.

Not sure about the CA one if it has a removable piece or not.

The RIS/RAS drops onto the CA with no modifications. If accessorizing is part of the plan, the Star shouldn't be.

Frankly I find the upper rail system for the 249 to be ugly as sin.

Your idea is better. Like the real thing, the rails are mounted separately and not like the G&P unit. Bolting them on without the need to cut into the structure of the plastic body would be better for the strength of the gun. Add a metal backing plate like the G&P when you bolt them on and you'll get a very stable rail.
