Hey guys!
If recently started upgrading my G&G cm16 .....added an ETU unit, a modify accurate hop up chamber and a Mad Bull black python V2 precision barrel.....now I'm looking at changing the gear box internals and probably motor.....any recommendations?
Thanks!

Use the right tools and avoid damaging already inherently weak materials. Google JIS cross head screws and drivers. Cause those are the types in the aeg's... not Phillips cross head(or micro driver sets of the same) that everyone seems to insist on using.
The size you will find a #1 to be the most common.

For parts, there are lots of existing threads on what preferences are... but basically stay away from polycarbonate &/or clear plastic components(piston & tappet).
Motors and gears will depend on what you are trying to achieve.
Don't forget to clean and lube.

Not sure if you already bought a new one w/ the hop up unit, but I'd also recommend buying a new hop up rubber. PDI W-hold is prob one of the best out of the box.

Are you just replacing internals for the sale of replacing internals? Or do you have some sort of end goal in mind?

you should probably figure out what you want your gun to DO, before wasting money on upgrades you might not need later on...
