Just broke a motor tab... Help!

I broke a motor tab while trying to hook it up. Finally finished my RM4 ERG rear-wiring project and this was the last step. What is my next course of action? Is there any part on the motor I can wire up bullet connectors or something?

Here is what it looks like:

Take a horizontal photo so we can see the broken tab.

Solder it to the post or just scavenge a new plate from a boneyard motor.

If you're creative insulating it, you can throw a small ring under the negitive side hold down screw and make contact from there.

Solder to the brush hood, but make sure the brush moves freely still, or scavenge a spare piece from an old motor.

Take a tiny spade connector for cars:

Remove the screw locking the endbell/brush hood and put the connector under it (and under the insulation ring).

Works.

As a quick fix, you can strip the wire and put it between the brush copper braid and spring pin to make the contact. Used to do that in 1/18 RC cars when the soldering/tab broke mid-race.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I've tried various things, and none of it is going very smooth. Turns out the stock tabs are the best way to go about things. Might either take apart my boneyard gun and see if I can use its motor hood, or just buy an upgrade motor, altogether. Kind of leaning toward the latter. Just need to find out what is a good buy.
