Well MB05 (L96) problem

I put the generic china made spring/piston upgrade and metal trigger (purchased from Torontoairsoft.com) on my MB05 earlier today, and there's a bit of an odd problem. When I cock it back once everything works fine, then when I fire, everything gets a little jolt from the impact. The set pin on the metal trigger then would drop down maybe 1/3 mm, just the tiniest amount. Then the piston would no longer engage with the trigger. I would have to push up on the bottom of the set pin, then when I cock the bolt the piston would engage again and it would happen all over again. For now I wrapped a couple elastics around the trigger box that I then put over the trigger set pin so it is always being pulled up and it engages and fires fine. I'm wondering, though, if there's a more permanent solution other than incorporating a spring or elastic that always pushes up on it. I haven't been able to find anything yet on others having this problem. I installed the trigger box snug and all, and as I mentioned as long as the set pin is being pressed up it engages just fine. *shrugs* Ideas?

Is there anything visually wrong with the set pin?

Nope, it appears normal, visually identical to the one in the old trigger box. No damage, no apparent flaws, etc.
