battery storage in the foregeip?
I've seen some people wire batteries in to the front grip. Is this product made by a company or are these a home brewed innovation?

Most m4's and slither stock mp5's are front wiered unless the m4's have crane stocks. The only difference is the way the wires are routed, no homebrew involved in most cases. In fact ots most often folks will rear wire and go to a buffer tube bat or back in the day a battery stock.

I think you missed the question lol
Yes, it is a thing that can be bought. Should be able to find it on google, I imagine. |

I think Hectic read it as handguard instead of foregrip. :P
I'm pretty sure the vertical foregrip battery storage you are seeing right now is mainly homebrew. As far as I know, the first commercial vertical foregrip capable of holding an AEG battery would be the PTS EPF coming out soon (or so they say). However, this would only be able to hold a LiPo, so no NiMH if that's what you run. I don't know why anybody would homebrew a vertical foregrip battery storage though... Why not just use a PEQ box or a MOE handguard or rearwire? |

Personally I don't like the look of the MOE hand guard, and for those that prefer to use something like a PTS CTR stock and using a mosfet leaves little to no space for a battery of any considerable size.

Yeah i did lol musta been past my bedtime lol
so most of what i said still stand, tho these days in most cases going to a lipo will allow bat storage front od back without the need for a box. And no need for any other mods if you dont go 11.1v

1. Buy a Magpul RVG grip (PTS or Chinese copy, or even real steel RVG).
2. Take a measurement of the inside dimensions. 3. Buy a lipo that will fit. 4. Ziptie the lipo in Done! If you want to run the wires inside the grip, you may need to drill a hole inside so the wires can go through to the handguard.

That paticular pic you see is a modded grip. There is for sure one style premade to hold a batt.
http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/cyma-a2-s...ip-c-68-1.html if you go lipo most vertgrips will be able to hold the batt will little modding.
