Good quality carbine
Hi there, I'm just kind of getting back into airsoft after a little bit of a hiatus. I have been sifting through the FAQ and ASC in general but to be completely honest, the choices are overwhelming. I was looking for a gun that would:
Need to be short(er) barreled - carbine would be perfect! My first gun was the G36, and the barrel was wayyy too long for my liking. I would like to mount some optics on it eventually, iron sight perfect to start with Good build quality Ability to upgrade (range, accuracy) My budget is around the $600 mark. Is there anything that stands out to you guys? |

If you want to go the AR route (which almost everyone seems to do...) go with a VFC!
AK route... LCT or E&L AKS74U or their 104/105 series. ^ best route in my totally biased opinion

Oh we do hate you, just never felt like wasting the time to give you a user title :P

Yep VFC. Perhaps a 416 CQB?

VFC makes several AR rifles of varying barrel lengths from standard M4A1 Down to the stubby killers, My best friend has had The M4ES stinger by VFC and that was a great little gun for CQB. Take your pick mate!

Trademarked VFC's = $$$
Non trademarked = $ |

If you get the "ES" line of VFC for example, those have standard VFC trade marks. Like this: If you want one with Colt/DD/etc (official) trademarks, they are a lot more expensive. IE SR635 416CQB TLDR: If you don't care about trades, get the one you like, and save the $ for mags, and upgrades. Also might want to get AV'ed, some nice pre-owned VFC's on the classifieds for decent pricing + upgraded. |

Ahh that makes a lot more sense. Yeah I couldn't care less about the trademark heh.
Yeah I'll look at getting age verified, I just live in portage la prairie so it's a bit of a pain in the ass. |

Yeah, just look up some retailers on google, you'll find one place that sells a lot of VFC products.
Can't give you a direct link, but google with country + airsoft = results. |

How much sand CAN you fit in your vagina!?

Plus one for VFC.
If you're on a tight budget then G&G.

Is it against the rules to post links?
I like the looks of the SR635, there's one place that has it for $480 CAD which seems like a decent deal for being in Canada. |

I had the SR635, was by far one of my favorites, but I picked up a KWA RM4 ERG now and will never go back to standard AEG's |

Now you have me curious. What do you mean by "standard" AEGs? How does the KWA RM4 ERG differ?
