Enola Gaye Smoke

With the discussion of risks of forest fires and the ability, and difficulty to obtain commercial grade smoke, for ventilation system inspection.

Enola Gaye Fireworks company from the UK has a solution for airsofters.

Previously difficult to privately import these into Canada. We now have a supplier, I already assume people know this or of another company. However I am trying to help spread the word.

They also make a flash bang, currently new as of last year and I assume will take some time and paper work to import them into the country. For now though we have Smoke, at a affordable price.

What is a Enola Gaye Smoke Grenade, and how effective is it?

Enola Gay

Here is a list of two suppliers from Google.

and of course their official website

old news, been using these at our field for a year already. And rocket now carries the Enola gaye assault smoke grenades as well, 32,000 cubic feet of smoke in 60 seconds or less.

I didn't know about it; I'm a chairsofter.
But these will be a much less expensive addition to my emergency kit when I fly.
Thanks for the heads up.

all I did was order from Rocket Fireworks and if your order is over $250 its FREE shipping. Last year I ordered in about $1000 worth of these and sold them to the boys at our field for what I paid for them.

The EG coloured smoke grenades emit ~10000 cu.ft. of smoke. For about two dollars extra, the Sport Smoke Tactical line does ~25000 cu.ft. I find anything less than 20000 cu.ft. doesn't provide enough cover for anything... but the small output of the EG line has purposes. I've used them to mark targets on a field and my line lit up the location, dealing with bunkered enemies. Hosts can use them to mark objectives in the field as well.

One site says the EG18 puts out 60, 000 cuFt, and another says 32, 000. Cant find any rating on EG's website either... pls
If it was the 60K, I would definitely grab some of the black ones since they would be comparable to the battlefield grenades.

----------

People using smoke in airsoft is a really funny thing to watch. They seem to think that using 1 or 2 of those really small 20K cuft grenades is more then enough to cover up any movements they make, and they start moving as soon as they go off or shortly after.

Most of the times that I have seen them used is when a hidden squad wants to move from cover to cover. All they have done is give away their position, and not use nearly enough smoke to disguise their numbers or direction of movement.

Its more of an LCF thing in airsoft I guess :P

I agree that the sport tactical smoke put out more smoke then the Enola gaye's do, but we pretty much have to use coloured smoke at our field seeing as it's partially visible from the trans Canada highway. Our field is just under a km from highway #1, too much white/greyish smoke and for sure someone would call county fire, be fun to explain to some fire fighters and maybe the rcmp whats going on. We figure no one will call county fire if they see yellow, red, or green smoke.

Actually red and orange smoke can look like white smoke "coloured" by a fire in the woods, viewed from a distance or certain conditions

If this is a concern you might want to stick to purples greens and blue maybe?

Is there a topic on the best uses for smoke like:
When to use smoke?
Why to use smoke?
Where to use smoke?
When not to use smoke?
Kind of smoke? Which color to choose?Brand of smoke?
Commercial smoke vs home made smoke
How to take advantage of smoke to create changes in scenarios???
Smoke and wind direction or force...

If not, That should be a very educative post from someone that knows a lot about and could be stickied if very informative.
