Lipo vs NiMh
So far I have been running Nicd and NImh batteries in my airsoft guns.
However, the 9.6V 2000 mAh NiMh in my GPMG( M240B) is nearing the end of its life. I was thinking of starting use a LIPO because of its smaller size. I understand that cells are rated in terms of charge. So would it be correct to equate a 7.4V 2000mah 30C to a 9.6V 2000mah in terms of performance?

it will most likely be a bit slower but its impossible to tell you by how much
if your motor is trying to turn high speed gears and isnt recieving enough amperage from the battery, then the lipo may come out being around the same rof. and you can always get a new motor or new gears to increase rof, you definitely dont need an 11.1v lipo.
